EDC Brings the Leaders of Entrepreneur Development under one roof
Entrepreneur Development Centre (EDC) organized a round table discussion for the leaders of entrepreneur development on “How can we advance our rural entrepreneurs” in 20th June 2016. Chakri khujbo na chakri debo, Dhubotara Social and Cultural Organization, SCITI Alumni Association Bangladesh (SAAB), Youth School for Social Entrepreneurs (YSSE), Uddokta poribar and Bekar theke uddokta participated the event. Main focus of the conference was to identify problems and solution for rural entrepreneurs.
Tania Tofail Haq (SAAB) mentioned that awareness, behavioral training, marketing, networking and product development are the parts we need to work on. “Natural Fertilizer, IT and Tourism are the sectors our entrepreneurs should give importance” added Abdullah All Mahmud (Uddokta Poribar). Some crucial points like involving youth, skill development, understanding consumer law, part time skilled labor, match-making between problem & problem solver, mentorship and supply chain were raised.
At the end, all agreed that collaboration of such organizations will bring a new dimension for entrepreneur development of Bangladesh.
